This delicious winter fruit salad is easy to make in pretty much any part of the country, and really good! Mix it up for a snack, or take it a step further, and turn it all into a delicious acai berry fruit smoothie. Yum!
Winter Fruit Salad
I know it seems simple, but it's really good!
In a bowl combine, 1 sliced banana, 1 sliced apple, 1 sliced orange or tangerine. Drizzle with honey or agave. Stir and enjoy! You could also add some pomegranates if you happen to have them available.
Acai Berry Fruit Smoothie
I used frozen acai berries here - they're suppose to be really good for your health - full of antioxidants - look it up:)!
In a large cup or blender, combine: 2 cups winter fruit salad, 1/2-3/4 cup almond milk, 1 Tbsp. Flax Seed Oil, 1 packet of frozen acai berries:
(I used this one, but I have seen a bunch of different ones you can pick up at health food stores). Blend up and ENjoy!! Add a little more honey or agave if you think you need it.

Acai berries are also suppose to be good for digestion, more energy, better sleep, help w/ weight loss, detoxification, healthier skin and boosts your immune system
