HOT CHOCOLATE......................................
After talking to some people on the East Coast, I realize it's really cold and snowy there, ........and no one really wants to leave the house sometimes. This recipe will help keep them warm, and also satisfy my chocolate craving, and yours!! Very easy to make - mix up a batch for everyone & enjoy!
so good even on a hot day! - thanks for the mug Aunt K.:)
Allergy-Friendly Hot Chocolate
This recipe is for one cup, so double, etc. based on how many there are.....
-In a small pot, bring 1 and 1/4 cups almond milk (or other substitute - soy, coconut, hemp, etc.) to a low boil. Watch & keep stirring so it doesn't boil over.
-Once the liquid is at a low boil, slowly stir in: 2-3 Tbsp. cacao powder (depending on how chocolate-tasting you like it...I like it really!) and 2 tbsp. cane sugar (more or less depending on your diet and taste.....) - I used Florida crystals.
-Turn off the heat, stir until everything is well mixed, our into your cup & ENjoy!!
