Crispy Kale

Yum! Fresh crispy kale from the garden.   You may be thinking 'green kale - yuck!', but trust me this is unbelievably good! It's also super fast and easy to make.  Kale is one of the most nutritious veggies you can eat because it packs the most nutrients per calorie.  These crisps were so good they tasted like popcorn crunchies - what a heathy and satisfying snack - try it out!

I got the recipe here: http://steamykitchen.com/6926-crispy-kale-recipe.html   Thanks!!

Crispy Kale
1.  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2.  Take about 4 handful of kale leaves and wash them off & spin them REALLY well in a salad spinner. (It's impt. that you get all the water off so the kale will be crispy and not get all soggy from the water when you bake it.)  Use a towel if you need to get rid of any extra water.
3.  Once dry, put the leaves into a large bowl and toss well to coat with olive oil.

4.  Now spread out on a baking sheet & cook bake for 12-20 mins.   Keep an eye on these - mine got pretty close to charred the first time!!
5.  Now sprinkle with salt (wait to add salt until after they're baked or the leaves will get soggy).

ENjoy!! Even kids and grandpas will like these............snack on!
